From time to time, Beach Bum Frenchies may have retired adult Frenchies who are ready for their next loving home. These dogs are no longer part of our breeding program and are placed carefully with families who are the right fit.
Each retired Frenchie has their own personality, needs, and placement details. Serious inquiries are welcome through the website.

Dutchess is a retired adult Frenchie looking for the right home. She has been part of the Beach Bum Frenchies family and will be placed carefully with an approved family who understands French Bulldog care and is ready to give her a loving home.
Placement is based on fit, and availability is not confirmed until Beach Bum Frenchies confirms it.
Placement is not first come, first served. Beach Bum Frenchies reviews retired Frenchie inquiries carefully to make sure each dog goes to the right home.

How to Prepare for Your New Puppy
A behind-the-scenes look at how we raise our Beach Bum babies
At Beach Bum Frenchies, preparing our puppies for their forever families begins long before pickup day. We believe the little things we do every day make a difference in how our puppies adjust to their new homes.
Today, we're sharing a few of our best kept secrets — the routines, training methods, and thoughtful touches that are part of raising our Beach Bum babies.
Early Potty Training — Starting Young
We begin introducing our puppies to potty training as early as 2½ to 3 weeks old, using a designated indoor potty tray.
We encourage our puppy families to continue this approach at home using either an artificial grass potty tray or a tray designed to hold pee pads.
We don't recommend simply laying loose pee pads on the floor. By the time our puppies are ready for their new homes, they've learned to explore, play, and chew. Loose pads can quickly become shredded pieces scattered around the house!
For their safety, we recommend avoiding public grass and areas frequented by unfamiliar dogs until your veterinarian confirms it's safe based on your puppy's vaccinations.

Puppy Apartments — Their Very Own Space
Before our puppies leave Beach Bum Frenchies, we begin introducing them to their own designated resting and sleeping spaces.
We lovingly call these setups their puppy apartments or puppy condos.
Instead of traditional wire crates, we use supervised, open-top enclosures with see-through panels that allow our puppies to observe their surroundings while enjoying a comfortable space of their own.
Our goal is to introduce a familiar environment and positive associations with rest and relaxation.
We encourage our families to create a similar safe, comfortable space at home, with appropriate supervision and a setup suited to their puppy's age and mobility.

Sweet Dreams — Bedtime & Daily Routine
Our Beach Bum babies grow up with a consistent daily schedule.
Bedtime: 9:00 PM
Morning routine begins: 6:30 AM
Maintaining a predictable routine helps our puppies become familiar with bedtime, morning activities, potty breaks, playtime, and rest.
When your puppy comes home, we encourage you to continue a consistent schedule while allowing for age-appropriate overnight potty breaks and individual needs.

French Bulldogs are affectionate, loyal, funny, and wonderful companions — but they need responsible care. Heat sensitivity, vet attention, skin and allergy awareness, proper nutrition, safe exercise, and lots of love go a long way.
Keep Them Cool
Frenchies are heat sensitive. Provide shade, A/C, and avoid hot pavement and midday walks.
